  • We don't guarantee payments: We can't force anyone to pay their share.
  • We don't mediate disputes: We don't get involved in payment disputes between users.
  • We don't store your data: All processing happens on your device.

Payment Platforms

Split integrates with payment platforms, but we don't control them:

  • Third-party terms: When you use payment platforms, their terms of service apply.
  • Payment disputes: Disputes with payment platforms should be resolved with them directly.
  • Fees: Payment platforms may charge fees that we don't control.

Intellectual Property

Split and its content are owned by Joshua Hou. You can use the app as intended, but you can't:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the app without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use our trademarks or branding without permission

Split is provided "as is" without warranties:

  • No guarantees: We don't guarantee the app will work perfectly or be error-free.
  • Accuracy: While our AI is accurate, receipt scanning isn't perfect.
  • Availability: The app may be unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues.
  • Third-party services: We don't control payment platforms or their reliability.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Joshua Hou won't be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Lost profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages from payment disputes or fraud
  • Issues with third-party payment platforms
